5 of 5 FN502 Guide rod spring April 19, 2024

My FN502 was constantly jamming, and I was not sure why until I did some research that said the factory spring was too weak. I saw that Apex made a guide rod and the sig  p250 spring was a good replacement. The guide rod was out of stock so I bought the sig p250 spring alone and it appears to be working without jamming. I will buy the guide rod when it becomes available. The only down side is that the slide release will sometimes get stuck , but it can be manipulated to lock in place. It is a trade off that I willing to make rather than continuing to suffer all the jamming.

5 of 5 Sig P250 Recoil Spring for FN502 April 11, 2024

I replaced the factory FN502 recoil spring with this Sif P250 spring. The spring fits like factory. The slide now has a much more robust feel when racking the slide. Definitely chambering the next round much more efficiently, providing a more reliable firearm. Great add on to a good firearm that was just missing a little something. Will definitely recommend this upgrade for the FN502.
