This +2 follower replaces the factory 10 round follower and allows for two (2) additional rounds to be loaded into the magazine. With 12 rounds in the mag and 1 in the chamber, that is 13 rounds in the gun. This 3D printed follower only works on newer magazines with the extended slots in the magazine tube. If your magazine has the shorter slots (see photo), then this follower will not fit. This is a 3D printed version of the old "Orange Follower".

5 of 5 Great Upgrade, But Make Sure You Have Newer Mags! July 17, 2024
Reviewer: Clayton from Houston, Texas
Just finished upgrading 7 Md 41 mags, 3 newer extended slots, 4 older short slots.  Like a knucklehead I missed that distinction when ordering.  The 3 newer are great, 12rd capacity.  The new followers fit the older mags just fine, you just dont get the 12rd capacity.  You can fit 11, but then the follower cross pin drops out.  May experiment with gluing it in.  Nic, maybe you could experiment with a slight change to the hole position so the pin doesn’t drop?
Until that happens, heed Nics advice and dont try these on the older short-slot mags!

5 of 5 It worked! February 8, 2024

It is a simple enough switch of the part but I do wish it was orange like my original 12 round mag. It would make it easier to ID.
