Sig Sauer 228 22LR Last Round Hold Open Follower is a drop-in replacement for the factory follower. This follower locks the slide back on an empty magazine. It does NOT add any additional capacity to the magazine. Use in conjunction with our 15 round spring plug seen HERE

PLEASE READ BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER

The NicTaylor follower is designed to catch the slide itself and thus lock the slide back/open. This technique is used frequently on AR15 22lr conversion kits. However, when doing this the user looses the ability to drop the mag free since the magazine is essentially being stopped from falling free when the mag release is pressed. The user will either have to pull the magazine out or pull the slide back to its most rearward position and manually engage the slide lock. This will allow for the magazine to drop free.

5 of 5 Just received the last round hold open followers August 29, 2020
Reviewer: Aaron Kimpton from maidens , VA United States
I have 15 p226 22lr mags, I run them pretty heavily every time I go to the range.  The old followers did not fail, but I did have to clean them. These new ones seem to slide up and down in the magazine much easier. I am very impressed with the revision. Thank you.
