Replace your worn out or lost safety lever plunger. This plunger is a replacement for the Hammerli Forge H1 1911-22 pistols. This plunger only fits 1911-22 pistols. Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 

1) Verify pistol is empty

2) Cock hammer

3) Put pistol on safe and slowly wiggle safety up and down while pulling out of the frame

3) Insert new safety plunger lever

4) Compress spring and plunger and insert safety into frame in the "safe" position
NOTE: It may be necessary to remove the slide in order to "wiggle" the safety up and down enough to remove and install. But the safety will be inserted and removed with it in the upward position (Safe Position)

The Hammerli safety plunger is under higher tension as the spring is only open on one side.  If you are not ready for that, releasing the plunger will send the small metal piece to another plane.  It is way too small to recover, and you will need a replacement.  This replacement was OEM, fit well and allowed me to get the Hammerli back in working order.  I bought an extra one just in case this one gets launched as well.
