These replacement grip screw bushings allow for the use of standard 1911 grip screws. The stock Hammerli H1 1911-22 grip screws are a special thread pattern and only fit those pistols. It is not possible to replace your grip screws with one of the many after market 1911 grip screws since the screws will not fit these 22LR pistols. By replacing the factory grip screw bushings located under the grips, you can use any standard 1911 grip screw. These bushings screw into the frame of the pistol with a metric thread pattern and allows standard thread pattern 1911 grip screws to be used. These bushings will work on both the 5" and 4.25" Hammerli H1 Models. Replace your factory grip screw bushings so you can upgrade your H1 with new grip screws adding that custom look to your pistol.
