This replacement sight set will fit the Hammerli Forge H1, 1911-22 pistols made by Walther / Umarex. Tools and instructions are included to install the new sight set. The fiber optic sight features a glass fiber insert that collects ambient light and amplifies the front sight making it easier for your eyes to find the front sight faster and acquire the target quicker. The fiber rod sits recessed inside the front sight reducing the "hallow" effect of other fiber front sights on the market. This makes the front sight more clear and crisp than other fiber optic sights on the market. The rear sight has rear serrations to reduce glare for a better sight picture. The underside of the rear sight has a small steel plate that helps disperse the pressure from the set screw used to tighten the rear sight in place. This reduces or eliminates any damaged to the soft alloy slide that may result from over tightening the set screw.

Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 
The front sight should fit snug in the slide, but should slip right in. Do not use anything heavier than the nylon punch included with this sight. Tighten setscrew with the provided hex wrench. We recommend using LOCTITE 262 glue or equivalent on the bottom of sight dovetail before installing. Follow the LOCTITE 262 instructions.

The fiber front catches great light, recommend light sand bottom with 600 grit in small increments for fitment, much better than factory sight, mine shot consistently low. Overall I’m happy. I need fiber optic sight for my eyes, clarity much better.
