These replacement grip screw bushings allow for the use of standard 1911 grip screws. The stock Colt 1911-22 grip screws are a special thread pattern and only fit those pistols. It is not possible to replace your grip screws with one of the many after market 1911 grip screws since the screws will not fit these 22LR pistols. By replacing the factory grip screw bushings located under the grips, you can use any standard 1911 grip screw. These bushings screw into the frame of the pistol with a metric thread pattern and allows standard thread pattern 1911 grip screws to be used. Replace your factory grip screw bushings so you can upgrade your Colt with new grip screws adding that custom look to your pistol. Black oxide steel. Set of 4 Bushings NO GRIP SCREWS ARE INCLUDED. Upgrade my colt/Walther 1911 22 with a mag well, full length guide rod, grip screw adapters, main spring housing, 15rd mags, the craftsmanship, nothing even needed fitting, and for the price point, hard to beat.

With these grip screw bushings I can replace Colt/Umarex's non-standard grip screws with the hex head screws I prefer. A neat solution to an oddball problem!
