This recoil spring plug is a direct replacement for the factory Colt 1911 22 long rifle handguns. Will fit the Gold Cup, GI and Railgun models. This recoil spring plug WILL NOT fit centerfire handguns. Made of stainless steel.

Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 

1) Depress spring plug and turn barrel bushing to release spring plug.

2) Remove spring plug

3) Compress recoil spring and insert spring plug and return barrel bushing to original orientation.

I bought this for my GSG 1911-22 because I couldn't find a similar replacement for the zmac plug on the GSG. I already had a SS guide rod but had to file the edge off the tip of it, to make the slide work 100%.
