This Load Assist Button is for the NicTaylor00 followers used in the high capacity magazine kits. These load assist tool does not work if your magazine is in the factory configuration. Insert the pin through the hole in the HiViz follower from either side of the magazine and press down just enough to load 1 round at a time.

*NOTE that the hole in the HiViz follower is not visible until at least 3 rounds have been loaded.

Must have for the magazine upgrade.  Once you get a the first few rounds in the magazine  you can switch to this and then load the rest.  Actually easier to use than tiny standard loading button.

I find this product less than ideal for someone looking for a plain load assist button feature. I find the knurling to be excellent, and I have no complaints on quality. I find the fact that this option isn't captured inside the mag body to be difficult to manage.  I have noticed through ~1k rounds in an 18+1 kit that I have  to hold firmly while I insert a new round, otherwise the button/pin/follower interface wants to slip.There really isn't a way around this part, if you want to modify factory magazines to 18+1.  They offer a load assist tool that is very similar to the Glock brand that comes with their pistols from the factory.  In contrast, the load button works just fine after 4 rounds are loaded and you have a table to rest the base on, and If this is the case, then it is just a matter of preference between the two styles they offer, but I was looking for a solution to aid in magazine loading without a base support, and this didn't meet my needs as someone with a weak left hand.
