This thread adapter quickly and easily replaces the factory barrel nut with no modifications to the pistol and allows the user to mount any 1/2x28 TPI threaded accessories such as a suppressor, an AR15 muzzle devices. No special wrench is required. Any 9/16 open end wrench found in a standard tool set will work to install and remove this adapter. Constructed of black oxide steel with included fluted thread protector.

1. Remove factory muzzle protector and replace with thread adapter. When not attaching a muzzle device to the thread adapter, screw on the thread protector to keep from damaging the threads of the adapter.

I was shopping around for the right thread adapter for my handgun. I was concerned in the beginning because it turns out that there are two different Generations as far as my handgun which also meant I guess two different parts. I misplaced the thread adapter for my Taurus TX22. Thankfully, Taylor Tactical had some in stock. Well made, no defects, looks great, and light weight. The fit is perfect, tight and smooth. I used it at the range and no issues. Connect and disconnect are easy, no sticking. I am glad there is someone out there who is still making these, they are no longer available on the Taurus website. It looks and feels like it came right out of the case with the gun when new. I have no complaints and I would recommend the product.
