This magazine upgrade you will get an additional round in the Wingman kit. It allows for a 16th round in the magazine plus 1 in the chamber for 17 rounds in the gun. Additionally, our follower locks the slide back on last shot fired unlike the stock Wingman kit. Since the button on the factory magazine is removed when upgrading the magazine, the function of locking the slide open on the last shot fired is lost. The button on the side of the factory magazine is used to actuate the slide lock feature on the gun. This follower is designed to catch the bolt/slide itself and thus lock the slide back/open. This technique is used frequently on AR15 22lr conversion kits.

This kit come with follower and increased power magazine spring. This modification is not permanent and easily installs in minutes. YOU WILL ONLY GET 16 ROUNDS IN THE MAG WITH THIS KIT IF YOU HAVE THE WINGMAN. IT ONLY ADDS 2 ROUNDS TO FACTORY MAGAZINES.

IT IS WORKING GOOD . THE ONLY ISSUE IS I ORDERED  A 16 ROUNDMAGA AND I GOT A 13 ROUND MAG.

Bought it for the tandemkross wingman+5 it works without modifications but only holds 13, after modifications it holds 16+1 as specified and locks back but the follower is the lock back mechanism so when you drop the magazine the slide goes forward, slight learning curve for repetition going from standard OE mags to the modded mags

I’m literally 50/50 on keeping these installed. They work…. But I could only get 14 in one and 15 in the other. I had to modify one so 15 could fit.  
Lock open feature is iffy. Sometimes it locks open on the last round and sometimes it locks open with one round left in the magazine.
Maybe with time and use this will work itself out.
Also, I really like the little finger load assist button/tab….(whatever it’s called)…. Don’t really need it when loading 10 rounds, but it would really come in handy when loading 15….just sayin.
