Replace your worn out or lost safety lever plunger. This plunger is a replacement for the Colt 1911-22 pistols made by Walther / Umarex. This plunger only fits the Colt 1911-22 and Umarex pistols made by Walther Arms. It will not fit centerfire 1911 or 2011 handguns. The factory part number for this spring is 517.200.18.0 (part #29 in the exploded diagram). If yours shot across the room while disassembling your pistol, never to be seen again, this part is for you.

Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 

1) Verify pistol is empty

2) Cock hammer

3) Put pistol on safe and slowly wiggle safety up and down while pulling out of the frame

3) Insert new safety plunger lever

4) Compress spring and plunger and insert safety into frame in the "safe" position
NOTE: It may be necessary to remove the slide in order to "wiggle" the safety up and down enough to remove and install. But the safety will be inserted and removed with it in the upward position (Safe Position)

The new spring and plunger combo fits great and my safety has NEVER operated this well even after sending back to Walther for repair. It no longer sticks in the on position and it doesn't take a ton of force to engage.
