If your like most AR owners you do not have your buffer tube locking nut staked. This allows the hobbyist and recreational shooter the ability to change out the buffer tube without going to your department armory for assistance. The problem with this lies with prolonged shooting where the castle nut used to hold the buffer tube tight works it's way loose. Having a small buffer tube wrench in your gear bag gives you the ability to tighten your buffer tube in the field when that inconvenient moment arrives. The handle doubles as a 1911 barrel bushing wrench.

A little disappointed with the wrench. The wrench was weak and the lock tip broke when taking the buffer tube nut off. But the wrench would have worked better if the material was thicker. The turn around time of shipment was fast.
