Skeletonized flat trigger for AR type rifles and variants. The Bull Moose flat trigger is a drop in replacement trigger that works with milspec fire control components and is designed to lighten your trigger pull for a precision rifle feel at a fraction of the cost. The flat trigger surface provides an even and consistent trigger pull where ever the operators finger is placed. 4.5-5.5lb trigger pull with milspec springs. Use in conjunction with the included NicTaylor00 reduced powder hammer and trigger springs for an even lighter trigger pull. Both trigger and spring can be installed in a matter of minutes.

*THERE MAY BE RESET ISSUES WITH SOME HAMMERS.

Application: The Reduced Power Hammer Spring is intended for competition and recreational use only and should not be installed in any rifle used for defense or duty applications. By reducing the spring tension, the introduction of light strikes or failures to fire due to the lack of primer detonation may occur.

Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS

All you need is a punch or hex wrench small enough in diameter to push out the hammer and trigger pins located in your AR15 lower. Once you push out the hammer pin, the hammer and spring can be removed from the lower. Take note of the orientation of the spring as it sits on the hammer so that you can install the new spring in the same position. Simply pull the spring off the hammer by grabbing one of the coils and pull. Install the NicTaylor00 Reduced Power Hammer Spring onto the hammer and set it aside.

Remove the selector by loosening or removing the grip screw. This will lessen the tension on the selector detent spring and allow the selector to be removed. Push out the trigger pin and lift out the trigger and trigger spring from the lower. Take note of the trigger spring and install the NicTaylor00 Reduced Power Trigger Spring onto the Bull Moose Tactical Skeletonized trigger in the same orientation. Reinsert the trigger / spring and disconnector into the lower and install the trigger pin. Next reinsert the selector making sure the detent is in place, then tighten the grip screw.

Reinsert the hammer/spring into the lower while pushing the hammer pin back into place through the lower. Be careful not to force the pin as you attempt to push it through the lower. Remember the lower is aluminum and the pin is steel, so forcibly hitting the pin or pushing harshly it may cause damage to your lower if all is not lined up perfectly.

5 of 5 AR-9 install April 2, 2025

This was first installed with the MIL Spec springs. The flat face feels a lot better and the action seems to be smoother. Then the MIL Spec springs were removed and the trigger feels a whole lot better. I don't believe the hammer spring needs to be as heavy as what's needed for rifle rounds, so for my 9mm AR it's good!

3 of 5 Both triggers won’t work March 16, 2025
Reviewer: Gilbert Barrett II from Portland, OR United States
Disappointed, I bought 2 separate AR 15/10 skeletonized flat face triggers from you, on two separate occasions and both will not work in the Ruger 556 rifle, and barely works in the PSA and Aero precision lowers.  The dimensions seams off. The sear engagement allows the hammer to ride too high.  Sad face because I love the feel, look, and price of these triggers. Everything else in the orders worked as intended.
