Guide rod replacement May 23, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Lansing, KS United States   I searched for a replacement guide rod after the factory part broke during a range session.  I found this part and the price seemed reasonable, so I ordered it.  I installed the guide rod and everything works great.  I would consider this part an upgrade since it is of better quality than the factory part. 1911-22 Guide rod April 5, 2023 Reviewer: carl carter jr from West Coast of MO in the GREAT United States   Yep... replacing the factory guide rod tool some rattle out of the gun. Excellent March 5, 2023 Reviewer: Jesse james   Field stripped the slide and added a buffer to the recoil rod and re assembled and it is now easier to take apart then the factory guide rod it also took a lot of the slop out of my slide to frame Overall highly recommend Was this review helpful to you?
