My gun finally runs. July 14, 2023 Reviewer: Tyler Rose from Chicago, IL United States   I initially got a 1911 because I love the look of a colt 1911 but don’t want to pay the prices of a 45. I also wanted a 22 pistol for plinking and taking first time shooters out. Well I got my Colt Walther 1911 22lr and it was very frustrating how it constantly jammed and had double feeds. Nothing seemed to fix it. I did some research and ordered the ZRTS which felt fine and it solved a few issues but it was still jamming. I  found this guide rod and man I am impressed by the machining and finish. Shit about 200 rounds with it and had one stove pipe. It ran beautifully and I’m so excited to have a functional 22. Guide rod replacement May 23, 2023 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Lansing, KS United States   I searched for a replacement guide rod after the factory part broke during a range session.  I found this part and the price seemed reasonable, so I ordered it.  I installed the guide rod and everything works great.  I would consider this part an upgrade since it is of better quality than the factory part.
