Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 

1) Remove slide and barrel from frame

2) Compress captured dual recoil spring assembly and remove from the slide.

3) Pull off the larger recoil spring

4) Insert the reduced power recoil spring onto the guide rod with the open end of the spring first

5) Compress captured dual recoil spring assembly and install into the slide

6) Assemble pistol

The recoil spring that I purchased was posted to fit into the Sig 1911-22lr.  The spring will not fit. It is shorter and has a wider diameter than the original spring.
