Aluminum Shock Buffer Monday, June 15, 2026 Reviewer: Bob Beaver from High Point, NC United States   Smooth quick trouble free order. Very pleased with the aluminum buffer. Works great in my military 1911a1 pistol. Frame was made in 1943, when metallurgy and heat treatment was different than today. Glad to find a buffer, that will not tear apart like polymer styles. I like the metallic feel, but you know they're doing their job by the way they get banged up. That's wear & tear they're saving on my gun!
