Great/ Not Fantastic September 11, 2020 Reviewer: Gregory B. from Davenport, IA United States   Follower works as advertised.  Slide holds open after the last round every time, but you do have to lock the slide back before the mag will drop free.  Not optimal for reload training/practice, but works.  Needed a little lube when first installed to work smoothly. Great product after a little modification September 1, 2020 Reviewer: Charles Ditmore, Mechanical Engineer from Oakland , CA United States   The followers worked flawlessly in my older mags. I purchased two new mags from Sig and ran into a little issue. Maybe my older mags are a bit more worn, but the followers jammed inside the new mags when inserted into the end of the spring. The follower moved smoothly by itself and the spring also was free to move without the follower. Additionally, there was no resistance to installing the end of the follower into the spring. I finally figured out that the flat surface of the follower that runs down the outside of the spring is a little too close to the centerline of the spring, such that when the follower is installed in the spring in the bore in the mag, the spring is forced against the front of the bore and the follower is forced against the rear. Removing enough material with some sandpaper from the flat surface so that the spring cannot contact it when pushed towards the rear of the mag made it work smooth as silk. Just received the last round hold open followers August 29, 2020 Reviewer: Aaron Kimpton from Virginia   I have 15 p226 22lr mags, I run them pretty heavily every time I go to the range.  The old followers did not fail, but I did have to clean them. Excellent Product! August 21, 2020 Reviewer: CJ from PLANO, TX United States   Hold the slide open after the last round is a must for Sig's 22LR conversion kits. Dry firing it could damage the barrel and firing pin. Was this review helpful to you?

Last Round Hold Open Follower May 29, 2020 Reviewer: Nicholaus Carroll from Honesdale, PA United States   Tried out one first,...worked great, bought more for all my mags. Outstanding service and fast shipping. Just be aware that the device may slightly bend the arm attached to the barrel as it could be pushed slightly up by the follower. I had a bit of trouble reassembling after a cleaning and had to nudge it to put the slide on. It's just the way the barrel had to be made to accommodate .22Lr. Was this review helpful to you?
