Just what was needed for " no failures " running CCI SV 40 GR LRN in Walther P-22.

5 of 5 Problem solving springs December 13, 2020
Reviewer: Vitaly Khozyainov from Kirkland, WA United States
My PPQ 22 developed a problem: trigger is not resetting. Walther decided that the issue is with the barrel, and replaced the barrel. It did not solve the problem, through. I called Walther and found that they now insist on using only CCI Mini Mags or HV copper-plated Federal ammo, otherwise the gun is not supposed to work and they won't even consider the issue. I used to shoot a variety of HV and SV ammo before with no issues, as the manual clearly states that PPQ is designed for any SAAMI-compliant ammo, but I decided to try these reduced power springs just to see if they'll make a difference. Indeed, the gun now runs fine with Aguila HV 40 gr!
Highly recommend as a solution to worn-out .22LR PPQs Walther refuses to fix

4 of 5 Tricky install... April 15, 2020
Reviewer: Tim Mihulka from Sheldonville, NE United States
Got the PPQ .22lr reduced power recoil spring, tricky to install, new spring is way longer than used spring. Took using the reassembly rod from Walther, and a few tries to get installed. Haven't fired yet with standard velocity rounds, going to try out as soon as possible.
