Simple replacement - works as stated February 9, 2026 Reviewer: CJB from Oak Ridge, NC United States   The Hammerli safety plunger is under higher tension as the spring is only open on one side.  If you are not ready for that, releasing the plunger will send the small metal piece to another plane.  It is way too small to recover, and you will need a replacement.  This replacement was OEM, fit well and allowed me to get the Hammerli back in working order.  I bought an extra one just in case this one gets launched as well.
