Colt 1911 22lr 15+1 Magazine Upgrade March 6, 2025 Reviewer: Charlie from Florida   Excellent upgrade with quality parts. Hardest part of disassembly was removing the "load assist button". No suggested method in the Instructions. I ended up prying it/breaking it off from the OE follower with a thin bladed screwdriver. Had to be slow and gentle as not to bend or damage the magazine. Reassembly was not a problem. First load of 15 rounds was firm with rounds 13-15 as the spring compressed. It should be easier the next time. Was this review helpful to you?
