1911 Recoil Shock Buffer - 3 PACK
Recoil Shock Buffer extends the life of your firearm by providing a cushion between the slide and frame.


 
The Shock Buffer is a must for the serious shooter. It cushions the impact of the slide as it travels rearward upon firing. They help reduce damage of critical components by preventing the metal to metal contact of the slide or breech block with the frame. They are made from high strength polyurethane, adds a balance of shock absortption and longevity to the firearm. Easy Install with no gunsmithing required. This is a disposable part and will wear. Inspect the condition each time you field strip your pistol for cleaning.

NOTE: if you are not currently running a shock buffer and install either a plastic or aluminum shock buff and encounter functioning problems, remove the shock buffer. Some 1911's just will not run with a shock buffer at all.

Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 

1) Disassembly pistol and remove guide rod

2) Remove any other shock buffer present on the guide rod

3) Insert Recoil Shock Buffer over the end of guide rod

4) Reassemble pistol taking note of Horseshoe orientation of Recoil Shock Buffer so that it faces the barrel
