Our full length guide helps with reliability in a way no other competitors parts do. Not only does the full length rod alleviate spring bind that can occur with the shorter factory guide rod, but the aluminum base on ours has been modified from factory specs to give the slide more rearward movement. The added movement allows the slide to travel farther rearward allowing for more reliable feeding from the magazine. No need to replace the spring plug on your pistol. Our Guide Rod System has been designed to use the factory spring plug. NOTE: WILL NOT FIT THE 922 VERSION!

1) Disassemble pistol and remove guide rod, Spring and factory buffer

2) Insert factory Buffer over the end of the Enhanced Guide Rod

3) Reassemble pistol

This item came quickly and as advertised.  I'm in California, so I wasn't able to get the full sized rod.  This was a perfect Compromise.  It keeps the spring from binding on occasion, and I've had no feeding issues.  I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to replace the original for better performance.
